UnifyBoard

Our marketing site

Accessibility is how we build—not a badge we add later

This page is our public commitment for unifyboard.com: clear structure, keyboard paths, and readable experiences for visitors and staff. We design toward WCAG 2.2 Level AA, then prove progress with tools and human checks—and we fix issues in the code, not with overlays.

See validation summary Report a barrier

UnifyBoard© believes the web should work for everyone. The standards we follow are the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 (opens in a new tab) at Level AA. Improvement is ongoing: standards, validation, and real feedback—not a one-time checklist.

What we design for

  • Semantic HTML5 landmarks (header, main, footer, nav)
  • Keyboard access and visible focus states
  • Skip link to main content
  • Meaningful link and image alternatives
  • Respect for prefers-reduced-motion
  • Clear hierarchy and readable contrast

Accessibility review and validation process

We evaluate this site against WCAG 2.2 Level AA using automated tools plus human judgment. Automated checks catch volume and regressions; keyboard and screen-reader spot checks catch what tools miss. This is an ongoing process—not a one-time claim, certification, or guarantee.

Tools help identify and validate issues. They do not replace fixing barriers in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, themes, templates, or custom code. Accessibility improvements should support—not disrupt—normal content publishing workflows.

Relied-upon technologies for this site include HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
